7:00 - 9:00AM | The Senior 2 Group is our top training program, designed for those swimmers (13 yrs old and above) who are committed to a year round training program that is focused on swimming at the regional & national level. Workouts will be held 6 days per week and will include in-water training as well as a 5x per week lifting and dryland program designed to introduce the athlete to muscle building and core strength. Swimmers will also benefit from advanced training routines, an in-depth nutritional analysis and an extensive goal plan each season. Swimmers in this group will be required to maintain 85% practice attendance and participate in all assigned meets. New swimmers interested in this group should contact the Head Coach for a meeting prior to signing up. Annual commitment is required. |

7 :00 - 9:00AM | The Senior 1 Group is for the high school age athlete (13-18) who is not yet ready to commit to the Senior 2 program or who wants to supplement their training for high school swimming. Workouts will be held 6 days per week and will include in-water training and a stretching and dryland program. Athletes are encouraged to maintain 85% practice attendance and participate in all local USS meets.
New to 2007 is the High School Training Option: Athletes who wish to train with their high school swim teams may practice with Jersey Storm from September 11 to November 12 and then continue their training when the high school season has ended on March 3 until the end of the year. Swimmers selecting this option can not compete in USS meets during the high school swim season (November 13 to March 3). |

| Junior 2 Group |

7 :00 - 9:00AM | The Junior 2 group is our top level age-group program for athletes ages 11 to 14 with USA Swimming BB and A times. Swimmers in this group should be focused on conditioning themselves for competition while continuing stroke development. Practice will be offered 6 days per week. All swimmers in this group will practice Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with those days including in-water training and a stretching and dryland routine. Swimmers are encouraged to maintain 80% practice attendance and attend all meets assigned by the coaches. |

8:45 - 10:00 am | The Junior 1 group is our mid-level age-group practice for swimmers ages 9 to 12 with USA Swimming C and BB times. Emphasis will be placed on continuing stroke development as well as building an aerobic conditioning base needed for competition. Practices will be offered 3 days per week including in-water training and a stretching and dryland routine. Swimmers are encouraged to maintain 80% practice attendance and attend all assigned USS meets. |

| Mini 2 Group |

9:00 - 10:00 AM | The Mini 2 group is our novice level group for swimmers ages 8 to 12 who can complete 1 length of each of the four competitive strokes. Emphasis is on the continued teaching of the four competitive stroke as well as starts, turns, finishes and intervals. Swimmers are encouraged to attend all 3 practices per week. Swimmers will compete in local meets as assigned by the coaches. |

9:00 - 10:00 AM | The Mini 1 group is our beginners group for swimmers ages 6 to 10 years old. Swimmers coming into this group should be able to swim 1 length of the pool in both freestyle and backstroke. Group emphasis is on mastering the skills required for the four competitive strokes. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 2 out of the 3 practices per week. Swimmers in this group will participate in meets only when assigned by the coaches. |
